CPR supports the EAVF’s anniversary walk

January 30, 2021

The Confraternity is delighted to be supporting our partner, the EAVF (European Association of the Vie Francigene), who are organising a group to walk from Canterbury via Rome down to Santa Maria di Leuca – some 3200km – later this year in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

Members of various national and regional bodies are being encouraged to join in. At present the date has been moved to mid-June (Covid permitting), starting in Canterbury. However, there is a strong possibility that some or all of the EAVF group will actually start in London, travelling along the CPR’s new proposed route, thereby adding four days to those already planned.

We are looking forward to accompanying our EAVF colleagues from across Europe down to Dover, and maybe even beyond!

Details on how you can join in with the event will developed over the coming weeks and months, so keep an eye on our website.
